The LUIS Despatch App tracks product deliveries and records administrative data to support efficient, customer-focused despatch activities. In addition, the App allows for defect management by allowing the recording of after-sales-service activities that are required to be performed. The App includes planned v actual delivery performance, customer advice of delivery timeframes, proof of delivery (POD), time spent on-site and rectification activities that need to be performed and scheduled. By using a mobile device, the App also tracks the amount of movement required by the driver or serviceman to perform the on-site delivery tasks. Office-based customer service staff can track delivery data and respond to customer enquiries in real-time.
